The Chicago Brigade is a nonprofit organization focused around providing professional development, employment opportunity, and community to the veterans attending college in Chicagoland. We aim to become the premier talent connector for employers looking to hire veterans, and we believe with our combined backgrounds and experience we’re the best group fitted to do so.

There are handfuls of amazing VSOs (Veteran Service Organizations) across the country that look to provide veterans with employment. Chicago Brigade is different in that it aims to provide a one-stop collection of the best veteran talent currently attending college and ready to take on bigger roles.

Since the inception of the organization we have begun to produce plans and partnerships to provide veterans in higher education with training and internship pathways to best establish them for their futures. While our first event is focused on networking, it is not the end goal of this organization and we have much more to offer down the road. In the future, we hope to connect military spouses and dependents as we continue to strive to be more inclusive of the entire military community.

The program is prioritized for veterans who have finished an active duty contract, but we’re looking to support anyone who has served our country through the Reserve and National Guard components as well. If you’ve worn the uniform, you can sign up for our events.
